Aesthetically Pleasing Cake With Suprisingly Light Taste
The look of this cake is exactly as per advertised (I didn't manage to take a picture of it because it has finished by the time I remembered to this review, can't blame me if it tastes good, right?), so pretty and each of the layers was evenly placed with the strawberries & fresh cream just made my day. With each bite, I felt like eating a cloud, the chiffon cake with the cream taste surprisingly light, not too sweet plus the tanginess of strawberries just add up to the deliciousfullness of this simple cake's taste profile. With that said, I would be more delighted to see the top of the cake to have more fruits so that it adds more value & the fruity flavour. Good job for the Yubake for this wonderful experience. Strawberry Shortcake
I've tried both their pandan jelly and strawberry shortcake, and I think I prefer the former. It isn't that their strawberry shortcake is no good, but I thihk it has too much cream in it (and I do hope it's real fresh cream) and I couldn't help thinking they could've added more strawberries instead.
But all in all, it is still a very well made cake and they have very courteous delivery.
