2. Ipoh Town Hall

Near the ipoh railway station, there is a white building similar to the ipoh railway station. It is the Ipoh Town Hall,visitors are welcome to visit.

In addition, there is  a fantastic fountain in front of the ipoh railway station. In the evening, there will be a beautiful little performance of the fountain. The colors of the fountain will be changed continuously. Perfect for lovers or friends to enjoy the fountain in the evening.

3. Birch Memorial Clock Tower

The clock tower with a 1.95m-diameter bell was built in 1909 in memory of J.W.W Birch, perak’s first British colonial secretary.

The four sides of the monument are carved to symbolize Malaysia’s four major religions, as well as murals of Buddha, Moses and Shakespeare.

4. Ho Yan Hor Museum

This small but exquisite museum was specially built by the founder Dr. HO Kai Cheong to pay tribute to the famous herbal tea.

Here, you can learn about the history of Ho Yan Hor  herbal tea and its founding history of  Dr. HO Kai Cheong .

5. Han Chin Pet Soo

Situated beside Ho Yan Hor Museum, it is a three-story villa, displaying the past tin mining and hakka life style, as well as the colonial opium smoking, prostitution, gambling, private party and other real situation.

After restoration, most of the furniture, floor tiles, stairs, doors and windows still remained.
There will also be a guide to explain these wonderful historical events to visitors.

8. Kellie’s Castle  

Kelly castle, a former Scottish planter William Kellie Smith’s second home in Malaysia,construction began in 1915, but work was halted when kellie died in 1926. This beautiful castle is only 30 minutes’ drive from ipoh.

9. Gunung Lang Recreational Park

10. Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple

Sam Poh cave is a temple built in a limestone cave, where many buddhas are enshrined. It is one of the three Buddha caves in ipoh.After going through the long cave tunnel, you can see the garden behind, where the environment is very beautiful. There is also a turtle pond where you can buy feed for them!

You can hear the buddhist bells and sounds, and see all natural stalactites and stalagmites there.
