3.  Alley No.5

Melaka is famous for little artsy cafes. Located in a small alley, Alley No. 5 doesn’t look like your usual cafe. It looks like a vintage cottage. The cafe is located in the backyard.

We highly recommend you to try the signature Sakura Latte, a unique recipe created by the owner. The taste will bring you down the memory lane to your youth! The delicious caramel creme brulee will remind you of the romantic feeling of falling in love. Remember to come early because it’s limited every day!

For the cakes, I highly recommend the signature lemon cheesecake, a fresh and delicious dessert.

4. Locahouz

When we first came to this cafe, we were confused by the multiple signage on the gate and it’s locked! We had to press the doorbell and the staff kindly open the door for us. What an interesting first impression!

When you step into this cafe, the interior will impress you. It’s full of art and beautiful decorative pieces. There’s a patio in the middle of the vintage house, decorated with tropical plants and pretty flowers.

What’s special about the menu? I’d say do not miss the Pork Hamburger. It’s a meatlicious feast served with secret seasonings, delicious bread, fresh vegetable and the best part – CHEESE!

Personally my favourite thing about Locahouz is their drinks! They are carefully prepared and decorated with delicate flowers. The pretty iced drinks are the best options to combat the hot weather.
